Anyone that’s really capable of generating ideas discovered this about 5 minutes after their first session, but if you ever said it out loud, especially in a big corporation, you risk sounding like a complete, self-righteous, egotistical ass.

Panera Bread
Panera was perceived to be a bakery or sandwich place by light users. We focused on their assets (ingredients, preparation, ambiance, kids meals, etc) and tied everything together with a “Details" strategy, which was co-opted nationally.
