Before starting his own agency, Sean was a copywriter and Creative Director at a number of top Madison Avenue shops. He worked on hundreds of leading brands including Allied Signal, BSA, Club Med, Continental, Chase, Dunkin Donuts, Hammermill, Intel, Jeep, MCI, Nestle, New Balance, Philips, Schering Plough, Reckitt Benckiser, Subway, Taco Bell, Valvoline, Volvo, Weather Channel, to name a few.
For more than a decade he’s been a strategic marketing advisor, board consultant and the founding partner of his own full service advertising agency. He oversees a vibrant team that encompasses Account, Branded Content, Creative, Finance, Media, Production, Strategy, PR, Digital and Social media. He most recently expanded their company to include their own 7000 square foot production studio. Over the years, Sean has helped drive real growth for real companies. Hudson United Bank sold for $1.9 billion. Physicians Formula raised $147 million in an IPO. Ironshore’s assets grew a billion dollars in less than two years and the company sold for $3 billion. Panera Bread was the top performing franchise in the nation. He’s worked with dozens of household names including Maxim, TiVo, Tolo, Audubon Society, Alfred Sung, LXR Hotels, Nylabone, Bill Blass, Izod, Van Heusen, etc.
Sean was also an early adopter in digital media. In addition to launching the debut websites and social media initiatives for several Fortune 500 companies, he helped brand Network Solutions, the first domain name provider in the world. More recently, he created StackMeUp.com, a growing social community that allows you to establish online credibility by comparing your personal accomplishments. It has been featured on several media outlets including KillerStartups.com and has gathered more than 50 million uniques. In addition to being a featured thought leader in Forbes, AdAge, MediaPost and QSR, Sean’s been interviewed for “One on One” with Steve Adubato on PBS, inducted into the NJ Advertising Hall of Fame and had work featured in The NY Times, Ad Age, Adweek’s “Best Spots of the Year”, Art Direction, Archive, Art Director’s Club, Creativity, Shoot, U.S. Ad Review, The Museum of Modern Art, even 60 Minutes. He’s also directed and produced dozens of commercials and won several awards including Addy’s, Communicator, DA&D, and Effie’s.
Sean is a Fairfield University graduate. In his spare time he is involved with various local youth activities and charities, including the Coalition for the Homeless, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Children International, and Kiva, amongst others. He has three children with his lovely wife Debbie. Together they are all writing a book based on their family adventures. It’s his favorite project.
